Dear Extended Care Parents,

Welcome back for another school year.  2009-2010 extended care program will begin on Monday August 24th starting at 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. before school and from 3:15 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. after school.  To drop off in the mornings, you will need to go up the ramp to the west of the social hall and sign your child/ren into extended care.  You will also pick them up at the same place after school.

The staff coordinator is Sheila Hrnchir.  Prices will remain the same as last year.  We pro-rate the fee, depending on how many children are in the program.  The rates are as following:

                   1 child                    $3.00 per hour
                2 children              $4.00 per hour
                3 children              $5.00 per hour
                 4 children               $6.00 per hour

Rates are charged per half-hour.  After school care does close at 6:00 PM, and any child/ren remaining after that will be charged $5.00 per 5 MINUTES after 6:00 PM until they are picked up.

There will be a snack provided for the children after school, but no breakfast is served in the morning.  Please have your children eat a good breakfast before they arrive or they can bring it with them. 

Billing will also be done as last year, with invoices/statements going out to you each month, and will be due on the 15th of each month.  The statements will be sent home with the children in the Wednesday folders or emailed to you if you have requested that (We prefer that, to save paper) so you will have those as a record for your taxes come that time of the year.  Please call Lisa in the school office if you have questions on extended care, 486-1860.
